Microsoft’s Surface Book 2 is now available for pre-order in both sizes 13.5 inches and 15 inches.
Laptop with Detectable Screen was surprising when it was announced last month, with gaming grade graphics completed and finally both a USB-C port has Intel’s latest 8th Gen U-series processor the core count two to four, but the 15-inch runs at a slightly faster clock.
The small model uses an Nvidia 1050, which will be enough to play modern titles on medium settings, while a 15-inch model uses an Nvidia 1060, which should handle the most advanced game in 1080p on the highest setting. Better yet, both of them are rated for 17 hours of battery life, Microsoft solutions using video playback – which is a terrible to measure the real-world battery life – but seeing the specs, this number will also be half.
Unfortunately, you will buy a hole in your wallet, which one will buy. With dedicated graphics, configurations start at $ 1,999 for $ 2,499 for 13.5 inches (8 GB RAM, 256 GB) and 15 inches (16 GB / 256 GB). Performance and fancy features come at a price.
There is also the only 13.5-inch configuration with integrated graphics and 7th-Gen (dual-core) i5 processor (256GB storage and 8 GB RAM), which will give you $ 1,499. This model is really funless and lighter, So it is something to consider whether you do not care about the performance of the graphics, but you can also get a Surface laptop.
Delivery will begin on November 16. For more information on Surface Book II, check out our first impressions here, and stay tuned for our full review.
